Our client faced a single charge of Making a Threat to Kill contrary to section 16 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861. The charge related to a domestic dispute with his wife, who he was in the process of divorcing.

The charge related to an altercation at his workplace. He was accused of wounding a security guard by striking him in the head with a handheld transceiver, causing a significant injury to the security guard’s ear.

HMRC brought a case against our client before Kingston Crown Court. The trial lasted 10 days, during which weaknesses in HMRC’s financial investigation came to light through cross-examination.

We represented a client accused of 3 counts of sexual assault against his ex-partner in a case before Liverpool Crown Court.

Our client faced a single charge of handling stolen goods which related to a Chanel handbag. She was accused of receiving this bag and placing it on eBay for sale, before potentially disposing of it.

R v X (2022) – Our youth client who faced charges of murder and manslaughter was acquitted of murder and following a hung jury, the prosecution offered no evidence on the manslaughter charge.

Our client was aged 17 when he was charged with the murder his grandmother, with whom he was living at the time of her death in January 2021.

We acted for the defendant who was accused of rape and a series of fraud offences.

Our client was subject to a European arrest warrant. Article 3 ECHR argument succeeds, and the Government of Cyprus' extradition request is discharged.
