Client avoids custodial sentence in drunk driving charge
04 February 2025
Our client appeared before Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on the 3rd February 2025, represented by Daniel Cavaglieri.
Our client reversed into a parked car and drove away from the scene. His child was also in the vehicle. He was arrested for driving over the prescribed limit and child neglect.
Sonn Macmillan Walker represented him at the police station.
He pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when the level of alcohol was 104 μg in his breath and failing to stop after an accident. He was delighted to avoid a custodial sentence or Community Order and instead receive a fine.
He was also pleased that he will be able to reduce his 28-month disqualification from driving by 6 ½ months by completing a drink drive rehabilitation course.
