Leah Connolly represents a client, RR, with vulnerabilities and successfully challenged the CPS decision to prosecute leading them to discontinue the case. 

Our client was arrested at a protest. She was of good character and made admissions, yet the CPS still prosecuted. After representations by Leah, the CPS dropped the case against our client.

SMW case preparation led to acquittal of GBH charge for client, and commendation from Judge in the case.

On appeal to Crown Court, the Youth Court decision to impose a DTO for three blades was overturned.

After letter of representations and a letter of action, the CPS decide to discontinue the prosecution against out client.

After two years waiting for trial, our client is acquitted unanimously after a four-day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

Our youth client (who was 14 years old) appealed sentence upon conviction for four offences.

Our youth client was convicted of Theft, Robbery, and Burglary, after pleading guilty at the Youth Court.

Our client was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court in relation to one count s.18 GBH, three counts of Possession of a Bladed Article, and one count of violent disorder.

Our client appeared before the Youth Court in relation to 6 allegations of theft and attempted theft. He also appeared before the Crown Court in relation to a robbery.
